Chinese Media Interviewed AWC Thailand

On the evening of July 1, 2025, a media press conference hosted by FSMC, the Chinese agent of Asset World Corporation  in Thailand, was grandly held at the Foshan Home Expo Center.

More than 20 authoritative media outlets, including Chinese Designer Network, China Home Furnishing Network, Sina, Tencent, etc., gathered at the scene to witness the important moment of Thailand's AWC Group's strategic layout in China. 1. What is your impression of the home furnishing industry in Foshan??

Foshan has left a strong impression on me. The scale of its home and furniture manufacturing ecosystem is truly remarkable—from volume production capacity to specialization in categories like lighting, smart furniture, and eco-materials. Foshan demonstrates advantages in mass production, price competitiveness, and a wide product variety across design and function.

Thai consumers are becoming increasingly sophisticated—favoring not only affordability but also aesthetics, sustainability, and space efficiency. Chinese products that incorporate these elements stand a better chance of succeeding in the Thai market.

2. How would you describe the current furniture market in Thailand, and what advice would you give to Foshan exporters?

Thailand’s furniture and building décor market is growing steadily, with revenue projected to exceed THB 125 billion in 2025, and 5.5% annual growth. Demand is fueled by industrial expansion, urbanization, and lifestyle-driven upgrades, especially among the middle class and SME businesses.
